How To Celebrate Peanut Butter and Jelly Day

In honor of National Peanut Butter & Jelly Day, I thought I’d share some of the ways peanut butter is used...at its BEST. Now we all know that a peanut butter & jelly sandwich is the classic, most original way to use the ingredients. But man, oh man, does it get better than that. Not knockin’ on everyone’s fave sammy, I’m just saying...there’s a whole lot more out there. Let me show you.

Donuts. Literally going NUTS for these. I mean look at them. They’re stuffed with jelly and topped with a peanut butter glaze. And chopped peanuts for good measure.

Wait. Hold up. These are “healthy” cookies? Yeah...about that. Ok, we’ll save these for our non cheat days. You guys have those too right? Ha.

5 ingredients for this ice cream? Sign me up!! I’ve got 5 minutes for this, that’s for sure. The base of this ice cream is from frozen bananas. So we’ve got PB, jelly, and bananas. Pretty sure those ingredients are prime for another classic sandwich, but I’m eyeing the ice cream version more, for sure.

So let’s move onto another dessert on crack. Cupcakes. What’s important in a cupcake is that the height of the frosting is equivalent to the height of the cupcake. Ya know, a good 50:50 ratio. That’ll do ya right.

Do you know the muffin man, the muffin man, the ….oh stop. Who remembers that song? Now it’ll be stuck in your head for the rest of the day. #sorrynotsorry I don’t know if I’m more excited that these could pass for an acceptable breakfast or that the crumbly peanut butter topping is layered on thicccckkk.

So I’ve shared cupcakes, muffins, donuts, cookies..what’s left? OH. Cake. Duh. Look at this. The layers on this thing!!!

Alright, who’s ready for a peanut butter & jelly sandwich?

Totally kidding. Do better. Have a slab of cake, will ya?
